Make Up Tutorial: Soft Glam Night Out

Hi guys!
Wow, it's been one whole month since I've updated my blog! Today I decided to try something different and decided to make my first ever make up tutorial! I'm sorry I look like absolute crap and if my skills are not up to standard.. Honestly, I've never worn a lot of make up.. But anyways!

This look is perfect for night out, a special event (formal, birthday dinner, etc.) or just whenever you're feeling a little fancy!

Firstly, I just applied Skin79 Triple Function BB Cream (Hot Pink) for a light coverage over my face since I don't like to cake up a whole lot.

Next, using an eye shadow pallet I found at Daiso, apply a cream base eye primer! That's my eyes with the primer on, obviously nothing visible since it's just there to make sure the eye shadows won't slip and slide!

After that, you can go ahead and tightline your eyes. Here, I'm using a black Dolly Wink pencil eyeliner to do that.

You can't really see the effects, but it's there! Trust me ;) Make sure you cover your lashline as much as you can!

Next, line your eyes thinly and as close to your lashline as possible! Again, I'm using my black Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner! You can also wing it out if you want, here I obviously did!

To create a wing like this, simply wing your eyes following the shape of your eyes and connecting it to the lower lash line in an angled line.

Now the fun stuff starts! Here I'm using my Makeover Essential kit along with some brushes my best friend bought me for my birthday (thank you Theresa ♥).

Selecting the dark charcoal black colour and using a soft blending brush, simply apply in a windshield motion from the outer side of your lids to the middle.
Make sure that you don't extend outside your eye socket since we only want the effect to be visible on our eyelids!

Selecting a shimmering white eye shadow, fill in from your tear duct to the center of your lids meeting with the black eye shadow. Be careful to let the black mix in with the white too much turning the colour to silver. Blend the shadows on the ball of your eyes until they create a more gradient effect rather than a harsh distinctive line.

This part is completely optional; apply the same white eye shadow to the tear duct on your eyes and line half way under your lower lashes to really make your eyes pop and bring them out! You can also go ahead and line half of the bottom lashes with an angled brush using the same black eye shadow to create a softer looking line!

Now finishing touches! Curl your lashes and apply a coat of mascara in a zig zag motion to give it more volume and length ^^

And you should be done! Here's what the completely look should look a little like! ^^

And that concludes this look! You can pair it up with a classy dress and some heels for an awesome night out! Now, we can't end this post without some selcas right? Hehe :3

I apologize if this tutorial sucked but this is my first time and hopefully I'll be able to post more improving on both my explaining skills and make up skills! Thanks for reading! ^____^

Much love,
haycheepoo ♥
